WIE Meeting on Sep. 2, 2015 at IEEE Iran Section Office

In this session, the committee decided to organize two more panels in this year in two major conferences. Among the proposed conferences, the Intl. Conf. on Control, Instrumentation and Automation and the Intl. Conf. on Bio-Medical Engineering were selected. Moreover, the draft of the WIE panel regulation was discussed, and after some editions it was approved. It was also decided that the member in charge provides a draft of the regulation for the launch of WIE sub-branch in the IEEE Iran Section Student Branch, for the next WIE Committee session.

WIE Meeting on Aug.19, 2015 at Computer & Electrical Engineering Faculty of Tarbiat Modares University

In this meeting, as a fist agenda, the committee discussed about which major national conferences the WIE should participate. It was decided that the members in charge of the WIE panel and meeting look for good conferences and also provide a draft of panel regulation for next meeting final decision. Then, the Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Science Research & Technology, Vice- Presidency for Science & Technology, and Vice-Presidency for Women was investigated and analyzed.
