Lecture of Chair of Women in Engineering (WIE) Committee at the Iran Academy of Science-Engineering Branch

Prof. Nasir-Kenari ( Chair of Women in Engineering (WIE) Committee) had a lecture  at the Iran Academy of Science-Engineering branch on Feb. 26, 2015, in which she introduced WIE and its vision and mission in general, and  its short-term objectives in Iran. To discuss the motivations behind the foundation of WIE Committee in Scientific Societies and Institutes, like IEEE, She in brief talked about the world wide history of Women in Engineering. After giving some statistics related to the status of WIE in Iran and in worldwide, she concluded her talk with the remark that “WIE belongs to all women and men scientists who believe in heart that the science and technology are for the benefit of humanity.”
