In this meeting, as a fist agenda, the committee discussed about which major national conferences the WIE should participate. It was decided that the members in charge of the WIE panel and meeting look for good conferences and also provide a draft of panel regulation for next meeting final decision. Then, the Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Science Research & Technology, Vice- Presidency for Science & Technology, and Vice-Presidency for Women was investigated and analyzed.
Finally, to address the problems that female students encounter, it was decided to establish WIE sub-branches in IEEE Iran section student branches by WIE’s representatives, starting in the universities that have currently WIE representatives in the Committee.
