SmartGrid Video Contest lets students and universities from around the world to present fresh and original views, which may stimulate the research community. Selected videos explain innovative smart grid concepts: Dreaming up new applications, user interfaces, technologies, scenario’s enabling, or enabled by, smart grids and also showcase benefits of smart grids.
For the 2014 IEEE SmartGridComm there were over 30 entries from around the globe, including entries from Germany, Argentina, India, Japan, Korea, Austria and Italy. Viewers were able to vote for their favourite video and it is our pleasure to announce that for the, the entry from Iran by Mr Sadegh Amani Beni from Tarbiat Modares Unviersity has won the third place in the competition.
