IEEE Iran Section is pleased to announce the call for nominations for its annual Student Activities Committee (SAC) awards. The deadline for nominations of all awards is the 1st of Farvardin 1393. The SAC awards are presented in several categories as follows:
The Best Student Branch Award
This prestigious award is presented to the one student branch on the basis of their activities during the past 12 months. The evaluation metric is tabled in the Best Student Branch Award Directive Best Branch Directive (V1-01-2014) (1) . All student branches can nominate themselves for this award, but will only be considered if they submit their annual report of achievements by the award nomination deadline. Submission of the annual report means automatic entry into the best branch competition award. Only reports which have been completed using the standard IEEE Iran Section Template will be considered. The Best Student Thesis Award
The coveted IEEE Iran Section Best Student Thesis award is presented in three categories of Bachelors, Masters and PhD. Only students who have graduated (i.e. defended their thesis) in the period from Bahman 1391 to Bahman 1392 are eligible to receive this award. If you would like to nominate yourself for the award please consider the following points
1- Each University can only nominate one Thesis for Each category.
2- The Best Student Thesis Award directive which has details of the assessment and necessary documentation can be downloaded here Thesis Award (V1-01-2014) (1)
3- The nominations need to be approved by your local Student Branch Counselor. No direct submission to the section will be accepted by SAC.
4- Each submission needs to be accompanied by a completed Thesis nomination form. The submission will be rejected if the form is missing or incomplete. The form maybe downloaded from here Thesis Nomination Form (V1-01-2014).
